EcoDrops Rewards Terms

Rules for earning, redeeming, and managing EcoDrops points

1. Program overview

EcoDrops is the loyalty and rewards program of BottleChallenge, operated by BrainGreen Foundation. The program rewards users for environmentally positive actions, such as refilling reusable bottles at partner locations, contributing to the platform, and engaging with the community.

EcoDrops are virtual points with no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, sold, or transferred to other users. EcoDrops can only be redeemed for rewards within the BottleChallenge EcoDrops Store.

These EcoDrops Rewards Terms supplement our general Terms of Service. By participating in the EcoDrops program, you agree to both.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the EcoDrops program, you must:

  • Have a registered BottleChallenge account
  • Be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)
  • Agree to these EcoDrops Rewards Terms and our general Terms of Service
  • Not have a suspended or terminated account

Participation is free. There is no purchase or payment required to earn or redeem EcoDrops.

3. Earning EcoDrops

3.1 How to earn

You can earn EcoDrops through the following activities:

3.2 Daily earning limits

To maintain program integrity, we may impose daily limits on EcoDrops earned per activity. Current limits are displayed in your dashboard. We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time.

3.3 Point values

EcoDrops point values for each activity are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice of changes. Points earned before a change retain their value.

4. Balance & expiration

4.1 Viewing your balance

Your current EcoDrops balance is visible in your Dashboard Wallet. A complete transaction history is available, showing all earned and redeemed points.

4.2 Expiration

EcoDrops expire after 12 months of account inactivity. "Inactivity" means no login, no refill scan, no review, and no other qualifying activity during the 12-month period.

If your account is inactive for 10 months, we will send you a reminder email about upcoming point expiration. A single login or any qualifying activity resets the inactivity clock.

4.3 Non-transferability

EcoDrops are personal to your account and cannot be:

  • Transferred to another user
  • Sold, bartered, or exchanged for cash or cryptocurrency
  • Combined with another account's balance
  • Inherited or transferred upon death

5. Redeeming EcoDrops

5.1 EcoDrops Store

EcoDrops can be redeemed for rewards in the EcoDrops Store. Available rewards include vouchers, discounts, and experiences provided by our Reward Partners (cinemas, theatres, museums, restaurants, and other venues).

5.2 Redemption process

  1. Browse available rewards in the EcoDrops Store
  2. Select a reward and confirm you have sufficient EcoDrops
  3. Click "Redeem" to exchange your EcoDrops for the reward
  4. Receive a unique voucher code in your Wallet
  5. Present the voucher code at the partner venue

5.3 Availability

Rewards are subject to availability and may be limited in quantity. Reward Partners may impose additional conditions (e.g., valid days, minimum spend). These conditions are displayed on the reward's detail page before redemption.

6. Vouchers & digital rewards

6.1 Voucher codes

When you redeem EcoDrops for a reward, you receive a unique voucher code. This code is:

  • Personal and non-transferable
  • Single-use only
  • Valid for the period specified on the voucher (typically 30–90 days)
  • Subject to the terms set by the Reward Partner

6.2 Voucher expiration

Each voucher has an expiration date clearly displayed in your Wallet and on the voucher detail page. Expired vouchers cannot be used or exchanged. EcoDrops spent on expired vouchers are not refunded.

6.3 Partner responsibility

Rewards are provided by independent Reward Partners. BrainGreen Foundation facilitates the exchange but is not responsible for:

  • The quality of partner services or products
  • Partner venue closures or changes
  • Partner refusal to honour a valid voucher (contact us if this happens)

7. EcoDrops Store terms

7.1 No monetary transactions

The EcoDrops Store operates exclusively on EcoDrops points. No real money is exchanged between BottleChallenge and users for rewards. The Store is a loyalty redemption program, not an e-commerce platform.

7.2 Pricing

Reward "prices" are expressed in EcoDrops. These values are set at our discretion and may change. Price changes do not affect rewards already redeemed.

7.3 No guarantee of availability

We do not guarantee that specific rewards will be available at any given time. Rewards may be added, modified, or removed without notice.

7.4 Consumer protection

Since EcoDrops have no monetary value and no money is exchanged during redemption, standard consumer purchase protection laws (such as cooling-off periods or statutory return rights) do not apply to EcoDrops redemptions. However, we strive to resolve any issues fairly (see Section 8).

8. Cancellation & refund policy

8.1 Before using a voucher

If you have redeemed EcoDrops for a reward but have not yet used the voucher code, you may request a reversal (EcoDrops refund) by contacting us at [email protected] within 14 days of redemption. We will restore the EcoDrops to your balance and invalidate the voucher.

8.2 After using a voucher

Once a voucher has been used (marked as redeemed at a partner venue), no refund of EcoDrops is possible.

8.3 Partner issues

If a Reward Partner refuses to honour a valid, non-expired voucher, or if the experience significantly differs from the reward description, contact us at [email protected]. We will investigate and, at our discretion, may refund the EcoDrops or offer an alternative reward.

9. Fair use & anti-fraud

We take program integrity seriously. Any attempt to earn EcoDrops through fraudulent means will result in permanent account termination.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Creating multiple accounts to earn extra points
  • Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to simulate refill visits
  • Falsifying location visits or check-ins
  • Manipulating NFC/QR scanning (e.g., scanning without actually refilling)
  • Submitting fake reviews or spam content for points
  • Self-referral schemes or circular referral networks
  • Attempting to sell, buy, or trade EcoDrops or vouchers outside the platform
  • Exploiting bugs or technical errors to earn undeserved points

Consequences: Violations may result in forfeiture of all EcoDrops, revocation of unredeemed vouchers, and permanent account suspension. We may pursue legal action in cases of significant fraud.

10. Program modifications

BrainGreen Foundation reserves the right to modify the EcoDrops program at any time, including:

  • Changing the number of EcoDrops earned per activity
  • Adding or removing earning opportunities
  • Modifying redemption values of rewards
  • Changing expiration policies
  • Adjusting daily earning limits
  • Temporarily suspending or permanently discontinuing the program

We will provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes to the program, such as changes to expiration policies or program discontinuation. Notice will be provided via email and/or in-app notification. Minor changes (e.g., adjusting point values) may take effect immediately.

If the program is discontinued, you will have at least 90 days to redeem your remaining EcoDrops balance.

11. Account termination

If your BottleChallenge account is terminated (by you or by us), your EcoDrops balance is forfeited. Unredeemed vouchers may also be invalidated.

If you wish to delete your account, we recommend redeeming any remaining EcoDrops and using any active vouchers before requesting account deletion.

12. Limitation of liability

The EcoDrops program is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • EcoDrops have no cash value and their loss does not constitute financial damages
  • BrainGreen Foundation is not liable for rewards provided by third-party Reward Partners
  • We are not liable for technical issues that temporarily prevent earning or redemption
  • Our total liability related to the EcoDrops program shall not exceed €50

13. General provisions

  • Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, consistent with our general Terms of Service
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect
  • Entire agreement: Together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, these terms constitute the complete agreement regarding the EcoDrops program
  • Language: These terms are written in English. In case of translation discrepancy, the English version prevails
