Conformance status
We believe that bottlechallenge.org is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some content may not fully conform to all success criteria.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas may have accessibility challenges:
- Interactive map: The map component (powered by Google Maps / Leaflet) may have limited screen reader support. We provide a text-based location list as an alternative
- Third-party content: Some embedded content (WhyDonate donation widget, Google Maps) may not fully meet our accessibility standards
- Dynamic content: Some dynamically loaded content may not be immediately announced by screen readers
- Complex data tables: Some data tables in the partner dashboard may need improved screen reader navigation
We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across all parts of the website.
Tested with assistive technologies
We test our website with the following tools and technologies:
- VoiceOver (macOS/iOS)
- NVDA (Windows)
- Chrome DevTools Accessibility audit
- axe browser extension
- Lighthouse accessibility audit
